So, the other day when Murphy got home from school he wanted to go over to his friend's house (our next door neighbor, C, his best bud). I asked Murphy if C invited him. He said no.
I then tried - for the 14th time (at least) - to explain that we don't invite ourselves over to someone else's house. But I did give him the option of inviting his friend to our house to play. He looked at me and said, "Okay, I just want to call him."
Oh, alright then. Sure. I gave him the phone and called out his number and let him ask for him. Then Murphy said, "Hi C, it's Murphy. Want to invite me over to your house?"
Nice. So much for that explanation.

Hahahaha. That is something that would happen here too... I know my daughter has gone behind my back to secure an invite after my questions. Only, she is 12.
Murphy is a pretty smart kid if you ask me! Love it. :)
Yeah, I've had that same thing happen. Nice.
