I can totally relate to how you feeling about Harlie not "showing you the love"...when Chloe was in treatment and so sick, she would treat me worse than anyone. Her therapist always said they're the meanest to the ones they love the most...and to the people who they know will love them no matter what. Some days it would be so hard to not her be her loving, sweet self, but I knew it was because she just wasn't herself.<br />Hoping today is the days she starts showing you the love!Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17719267167618171505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4834405754301414360.post-19084649563989872922010-08-03T20:32:23.383-04:002010-08-03T20:32:23.383-04:00Is this young lady awesome or what?! Christy, I echo what Harlie's Grandma said: Kids will love their parents the most and that's who they can be themselves with the most. You are who Harlie has had right with her all her life so you're going to get her best and her worst. She will get over this and you will see and feel her love; right now, you have to remember it in your heart. She does love you and we who follow you and Harlie on your blog know that! I know that she loves you, but probably does not understand what she has gone through. You can see that she is very intelligent so she is trying to put all her puzzle pieces of her life together. Kids are smarter than sometimes than we give them credit for. Give her time Mom. She has made remarkable progress.
